1. Role Overview
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a C-level leadership role responsible for defining and executing the global marketing strategy across mobile games, applications, and AI-powered tools. This position leads growth, brand positioning, user acquisition, monetization, and market expansion at a global scale.
The Chief Marketing Officer plays a critical role in the company’s journey toward becoming a billion-dollar technology group, working closely with Product, Data, Design, and Tech teams to drive sustainable growth through a balanced brand + performance mindset.
2. Chief Marketing Officer – Key Responsibilities
2.1 Global Marketing Strategy & Go-To-Market

Define and execute the overall global marketing strategy aligned with company vision and growth objectives.

Lead brand positioning and long-term growth strategy across all products and target markets.

Build and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) plans for each product, including messaging, positioning, channel strategy, and budget allocation.

Coordinate global marketing resources to ensure consistent messaging, brand identity, and growth goals across regions.
2.2 User Acquisition & Creative Performance

Lead and optimize multi-channel User Acquisition (UA) campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and ad networks.

Work closely with Creative teams to develop high-performing ad assets (images, videos, playable ads, UGC).

Continuously test new ad formats, creatives, channels, and growth strategies to scale user acquisition efficiently.

Optimize UA spend to maximize user quality, revenue, ROI, and long-term value.
2.3 Data, Analytics & Growth Optimization

Partner with the Data team to design real-time dashboards and KPI systems for transparent, data-driven decision-making.

Analyze user behavior, channel performance, and campaign efficiency to drive fast and accurate decisions.

Identify insights and implement process improvements to enhance marketing effectiveness and scalability.
2.4 Monetization & ASO

Collaborate with Product Owners to optimize the full user funnel and revenue models, including Ads, IAP, and Subscriptions.

Drive LiveOps strategies to improve Retention, LTV, ARPU, and overall monetization performance.

Lead App Store Optimization (ASO) initiatives to increase visibility, downloads, and rankings on App Store and Google Play.
2.5 Marketing Team Leadership & Culture

Build, develop, and scale high-performing teams across UA, Creative, Data, and Monetization.

Establish a high-performance culture focused on learning, innovation, accountability, and autonomy.

Operate under an Agile Squad model, where the CMO provides strategic direction, removes barriers, and avoids micromanagement.

Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Data, Design, and Engineering teams.
3. Chief Marketing Officer Job Requirements
3.1 Experience & Background
-
Proven experience scaling mobile games or applications to 10M+ users.
-
Hands-on leadership experience managing monthly marketing budgets exceeding USD 300,000.
-
Background as Head of UA, Growth Lead, or equivalent leadership role within game studios or fast-growing tech startups.
-
Strong experience running global campaigns across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 markets.
3.2 Technical & Marketing Expertise

Deep understanding of performance metrics including CPI, LTV, ROI, Retention, ARPU, and eCPM.

Strong knowledge of mobile growth, monetization strategies, and ASO best practices.

Experience with hybrid casual games or UA models focused on IAP is a strong advantage.

4. Compensation & Benefits

Salary: Negotiable, up to 60M VND/month

Incentives: Performance Bonus + ESOP

Working time: 7.45 hours/day with afternoon tea break

Lunch allowance: 35,000 VND/day
