Role: Presales Engineer

2. Role Overview

The Presales Engineer (Security Consultant) is responsible for supporting presales technical activities, delivering security consulting, and designing tailored cybersecurity solutions for partners and customers. This role works closely with sales teams, partners, and clients to ensure technical excellence throughout the sales cycle.

The position reports directly to the Department Head and plays a key role in strengthening technical credibility and solution effectiveness.

3. Key Responsibilities

3.1 Presales & Technical Consulting

• Conduct presales technical activities including system presentations, technical consulting, and security solution design.

• Design network and security architectures aligned with customer requirements.

• Perform solution testing, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) activities.

• Provide technical input and support for bids, proposals, and tenders.

3.2 Training & Knowledge Sharing

• Deliver regular product training sessions and technical updates for partners and clients.

• Support partners in understanding solution capabilities and deployment best practices.

3.3 Technology Research & Reporting

• Research global trends and emerging technologies in information security.

• Provide insights and recommendations to support solution development and positioning.

• Report activities and progress directly to the Department Head.

4. Job Requirements

4.1 Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role such as Presales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Security Engineer.

4.2 Technical Expertise

• Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with security solutions such as:
  NGFW, IPS/IDS, Endpoint Security, WAF, SEG, SWG, DDoS Protection, APT Protection, SIEM, SOAR, CASB, and Cloud Security.

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNA Security, AWS-SAA, CEH, Security+, NSE4, or equivalent are a strong advantage.

4.3 Skills & Competencies

• Strong presentation skills with confidence in delivering technical solutions to customers.

• Excellent planning and time management abilities.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

5. Compensation & Benefits

• Total benefit package up to 15 months’ salary per year.

• 13th-month salary bonus and additional holiday and festival bonuses as per company policy.
