Job Purpose:

• The role as Jig Engineer in the Purchasing Department is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing mold suppliers to ensure mold meet technical requirements, quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules.

Job Description:

• Identify, evaluate, and develop Jig suppliers based on technical capability, quality, cost, and delivery performance.

• Sourcing new potential suppliers to ensure uninterrupted operations within the business continuity plan.

• Request and review quotations from suppliers for new Jig projects.

• Conduct technical discussions with suppliers to ensure mold meet product and process requirements.

• Support supplier selection and participate in supplier evaluation and audits.

• Coordinate Jig development activities from design review to Jig delivery and qualification.

• Monitor project timelines to ensure Jig are delivered according to production schedules.

• Follow up Jig trial results and work with suppliers to resolve technical issues.

• Review Jig design, drawings, and technical specifications before fabrication.

• Work with internal engineering teams to optimize Jig design for manufacturability and cost efficiency.

• Analyze Jig costs and propose cost optimization opportunities.

• Negotiate contracts, terms, condition with suppliers.

• Cross check Purchase Requisitions and issue Purchase Order.

Recruitment Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in Jig purchasing position.

• Strong knowledge of Jig design, mold manufacturing processes, and materials.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and Jig specifications.

• Consistent, detail-oriented, analytical.

• Good speaking and written skills in English.

• Subordinate: N/A

• Salary: 35-40M gross, included OT

• Working time: Monday – Friday, 7:20 – 16h48 (leave office at 16h on Friday)

• Transportation support: Bien Hoa at 6:00AM; Cantavil, Thu Duc Crossroad at 6:30AM; Ba Ria first point: 5:55AM (Trung tâm Thương mại Bà Rịa)

• Bonus: performance and year end

• PVI after probation
