2. ROLE MISSION: ENGINEERING THE ANDROID AUTOMOTIVE ECOSYSTEM
As a Framework Development Engineer, you are the custodian of the vehicle’s digital DNA. You won’t just be coding applications; you will be modifying and optimizing the very core of Android Automotive OS (AAOS) to meet rigorous global standards.
Core Responsibilities:

Architecting the Framework: Develop and modify Android Framework components (Power Management, Media & USB, OTA, SWDL, Tuner, and Vehicle Control) to align with specific project requirements.

Bridging HAL & Middleware: Drive the critical “docking” process between Android Automotive modules and the Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL), ensuring flawless communication.

System Integrity: Take ownership of analyzing and resolving complex framework-level issues, ensuring system stability and performance.

Global Compliance: Navigate the complexities of Google GAS (Google Automotive Services) certification and CDD (Compatibility Definition Document) specifications for international markets.

End-to-End Innovation: Design, code, test, and debug new features from the ground up, following a robust architectural design plan.
3. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: THE EXPERT’S TOOLKIT
We are looking for a rare blend of low-level system understanding and high-level logic.

| Languages | Solid foundation in Java; proficiency in C and C++ is highly preferred. |
| OS Expertise | Deep knowledge of AOSP (Android Open Source Project) compilation and maintenance. |
| Systems | Experience in Linux environments and Multithreaded programming. |
| Tools | Mastery of Git, ADB debugging, and design pattern implementation. |
| Communication | Fluent English is non-negotiable for direct international collaboration and interviews. |

5. PREMIUM COMPENSATION & ENVIRONMENT

Competitive Package: Base salary $2,500 – $3,500 (Negotiable), with a total annual package of 13–16 months.
